Q: What is a Concierge? A: The definition of a Concierge (French), in French apartment buildings, is an employee who lives on the premises and serves as a janitor and general caretaker. In medieval times, the concierge was an officer of the King who was charged with executing justice, with the help of his bailiffs. The term concierge evolved from the French Comte Des Cierges, the Keeper of the Candles, who tended to visiting nobles in castles of the medieval era. In modern times, a Concierge is someone you can rely on to light your candles...to caretake your life. Typically a concierge would be available at hotels and travel agencies, to help make the most of a vacation or business trip. Now you have your own personal assistant in a concierge, to handle more than just travel arrangements.
Q: How could a Concierge Service help me? A: If you are so overwhelmed that you can't get your Christmas cards out until after Christmas, you could use my services.
Q: Is a Personal Assistant expensive? A: I believe in providing a good quality service commensurate with the area's economy. My rate varies depending upon the request, but I strive to make my service not only available, but affordable.
Q: Do I make an appointment or call as needed? A: I hope to be available for each and every request and most of the time, I can accomodate calls as needed, or at least within a few hours. If a particular task is requested daily, weekly, monthly or otherwise, that can be arranged with a phone call or an email. Urgency happens, and I am more than flexible in accomodating.
Q: What is the fast way to contact you? A: My cell phone is with me at all times and messages are checked frequently.
Q: Do you only provide services to individuals, or can businesses use your services as well? A: Not only do I tend to the busy household, but also the traveling professional, the overwhelmed executive and the short-handed business who needs quick, reliable, and fast service to conciliate their dilemma.
